ABOUT THIS COURSE

Clinical settings that care for patients across all age groups — from GP surgeries and community health teams to paediatric services and children's wards — require staff who can respond to a cardiac emergency regardless of the casualty's age. The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support for Adults, Children and Infants in Clinical Practice (RQF) provides comprehensive clinical BLS training across all three age groups, designed to assist clinical practices in meeting the requirements of the Resuscitation Council (UK) Quality Standards.

Delivered by National Training Hub — a Qualsafe registered centre (No. 907979) — this qualification combines adult, child and infant CPR and AED training with choking management, all within a clinical practice context.

Annual renewal: Following Resuscitation Council (UK) Quality Standards guidance for clinical settings, this certificate is valid for 1 year and must be renewed annually.
